To execute the consultancy service in Jharkhand State for its transmission system, POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility, of the country invites applications from bright, fresh and energetic personnel for the following purely temporary posts on contract basis for a period of two years or till the completion of project, whichever is earlier:

Selection Process : The selection process shall consist of Personal Interview. However, in case applicants are large in number, screening test may be conducted. 
If conducted, the Screening test shall be of Objective Type (Each question having four multiple choice answer options) of one hour duration consisting of two parts.Part-I with 50 questions having specific questions from your discipline.Part-II consists of 25 questions on vocabulary, verbal omprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency, numerical ability etc. 


All questions carry equal marks and there shall be no negative marks. 

The Screening Test shall be held at RANCHI (JHARKHAND).Admission to the test will be on production of admit card only. Exact date and venue of examination shall be intimated through Admit Card. Candidates will have the option to appear the test/ interview in Hindi/ English medium. 
In case screening test is conducted, those candidates who qualify in the screening test will only be considered for short-listing for interview as per criteria decided by the management. Screening test will be for elimination purpose only and will not carry any weight-age in final merit. Selection will be done on the basis of performance in Interview only and qualifying marks in interview shall be 40% for UR and 30% for reserved category. Offer of engagement shall be sent to candidates found suitable in interview in the order of merit and depending upon the actual requirement as decided by the management.The final engagement of candidates is subject to their medical
