Job Description:
1)      Availability of bin material at stores all the time
a.      Ensure availability of Major A Class items of  bin material  at stores
b.      Zero stock out of key operating supplies required for critical machine centers
2)       Process Improvement activities - Monitor the list of items which are repetitively purchased and make fresh new annual contract for these item so as to attract higher discounts by clubbing requirements of internal units.
3)       Reduction of Stores Inventory to maintain Working Capital
4)      Ensure accurate and timely Stores accounting.
5)      Proper storage & preservation of materials
6)      Develop tools for monitoring performance efficiency through stages of processing like receipt, issue, etc. and periodic review.
7)      Controlling and maintaining lower cost of item to be purchased through developing new vendors, developing new items without affecting the Quality for which item is procured.
8)      Space optimization by innovative means for safe & proper storage methods.
9)      Systematically building stores spares inventory with the help of user dept.
10)  Focus attention on 5S activities

Qualifications:
1) M.Com / B.E or B.Tech (any stream)
2) Post Graduate Dilpoma/ Diploma in Material Management will be a added advantage

Minimum Experience Level: 0 - 5 Years
