Department Head Training Recruitment & Poornata

Location: Sambalpur, Sambalpur, Orissa

 Job Description:

Manpower Planning
-    Prepare plant wise manpower requirement along with respective Plant Heads for expanded facilities in line with IE, Renukoot.
-    Seek manpower budgetary approvals.
-    Revising Organisation Structures with proper manning & its implementation.
Talent Acquisition
-    Ensure implementation of the manpower budget.
-    Sourcing for Mgt & Supervisory cadres and initiation of selection procedure.
-    Head Hunting from similar industry.
-    Keep Cluster HR Head, Function Head & Unit Head informed of the status quo on weekly basis.
-    Ensure proper fitments according to internal parity.
-    Ensure timely filling up of vacancies to support plant production in existing as well as expanded capacities.
Training &  Development
-  Supervise the training function w.r.t TNI, Skill Gaps, conduct of training.
- Support the training manager for measuring effectiveness.
-  Conceptualize innovation in training and suggest for implementation.
-  Adherence to the quality goals and per capita training man days
- Monitor external nominations.
- Reviewing the status of Action plan half yearly.
- Finalize training Budget.
- Conduct Know your HR sessions
Technical / Skill Skill & Competency Mapping process for all categories of employees.





-    Ensure proper implementation & Reviewing the Skill & Competency Mapping process.
-    Creating Skill & Knowledge assessment in Technical area for all HO roll Employees
-    Based on identified skill & competency gap develop Specific Training Module for different functional areas  for better training delivery
-    Developing internal pool of faculties for better training effectiveness in core functional areas

Employee Engagement Initiatives
- Vibes
-Ensuring Sharing of the unit wise OHS Score.
-Preparing the Action Plan to improve the score for the coming Survey.
-Ensuring the formation of Core Committee and Apex Committee to review.
-Reviewing the status of Action Plan Quarterly.
-Reporting the status of The Action plan to Apex Committee.
-Conducting sample Climate Survey annually to assess periodic OH Climate
- Implement FGDs action plan:
a.      Communication
-    Monthly & Quarterly communication meeting of Complex Head
-   New joinees interaction with Complex Head, post induction programme
b.     Publishings
-   Ensure collation of articles, editing & timely publication of in-house Journal Ame-o-Amara.
-   Facilitate news items/ articles to Corporate Journal FULL CIRCLE
-   Manage the internal portal “Pratidhwani”
c.                   c. Employee Caring
d.                  – Conceptualize Buddy concept.
e.                   – Plan Group Birthday celebrations.
f.                   d. Recognition Initiatives
g.                  – Specific Plant level recognition programmes conceptualization and implementation.
Talent Management
-   Ensuring Review of the Talent management Pool and adding new numbers based on the established criteria.
-    Ensuring the identified members to attend the DAC.
-    Ensuring the preparation of Individual Development Plan.
-    Reviewing the status of Individual Development Plan.
-    Preparing the quarterly status report of the Talent Management Pool.
Poornata
- Prepare Organisation Charts for entire complex and ensure updation of Poornata in line with it.
- Ensure periodic updating of all the modules
- Ensuring nil deviation during Poornata Audit.
Developing Standard Operating Practices (SOPs) for the IMS on T&D for the Complex.
-Developing Standard Operating Practices.
(SOPs) for Inte grated Management System.
-Ensuring Nill NCR on T&D till final certification.
-Keeping Related records updated.
Compliance Management

-          Administrator role for Compliance Management for entire Hirakud Complex
-          MIS & monitor implementation.
-          Ensure owners, approvers, guest users in the system as per guidelines.
-          Coordinate with E&Y on need basis for support.
Add-More Initiatives
-          Interaction with GTF, Mumbai on regular basis for add more.
-          Coordinate with UTF on regular basis.
-          Ensure the initiatives of Add-More are implemented.
-          Monitor progress of each initiative and report.
-          Monthly MIS to GTF on progress.
-          Resolve queries between cross functions and facilitate progress.
Wellness Initiative & Quality of Life
-          Act as Wellness Champion for the unit.
-          Plan, budget and implement wellness initiative at Hirakud Complex.
-          Identify Quality of life programmes for all age groups and implement.
-          MIS reports to GHR.
-          Feedback mechanism monitoring.
Setting up of St. Xavier’s High School in the premises & monitoring.
-          Liaise with School Trust, Banks and CHR Legal for smooth setting up of the infrastructure for school.
-          Forming a Core Committee for School Management.
-          Periodic Monitoring of the functioning of the school.

Qualifications:  Graduate in Any discipline+M.B.A in HR /Related Degree/Diploma

Minimum Experience Level: 16 - 20 Years
