**Job Title:** Cook-cum-Helper

**Eligibility Criteria:**
- Age: 18 to 60 years
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen
- Health: Medically fit and free from contagious diseases
- Priority is given to destitute women and poor unwed mothers from various communities, followed by poor divorcees or desertees.

**Important Details:**
- **Honorarium:** ₹1000 per month or as fixed by the Govt. of India from time to time.
- **Engagement Type:** Voluntary, by the School Managing Committees (SMC)
- **Age Limit:** Services terminate at the age of 60 or if found medically unfit.
- **Application Documents:** Two passport size photos, attested copies of certificates, Voter ID, and Bank Pass Book.

**Application Mode:** Engagement is made by the School Managing Committees at the school level. The appointing/disciplinary authority is the SMC, with the Block Education Officer as the appellate authority.

**Additional Information:**
- Cook-cum-Helpers have no right to claim regularization or appointment as regular employees under the State Government.
- Continuous absence without authorization can lead to termination.
