**Hostel Admission Notification for OBC/SEBC Students in Kendrapara District**

The Collector & District Magistrate of Kendrapara, under the ST & SC Development, M & BCW Department, Government of Odisha, has announced admissions for OBC/SEBC students into a 200-seated Post Matric Hostel for Boys & Girls located at Gualsing, Derabish, Kendrapara. This opportunity is aimed at providing hostel facilities to eligible students pursuing various Post Matric Level Courses within the district.

**Eligibility Criteria:**
- Applicants must be residents of Odisha and belong to the OBC/SEBC community.
- They should be enrolled/have secured admission in Post Matriculation General/Technical or Professional courses in recognized Govt./Govt. Aided Colleges/Institutes in Kendrapara District.
- The annual income of the applicant's family should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
- The course duration for which the hostel facility is sought must be a minimum of 2 years or till the course completion.

**Seat Allocation:**
- 40% of seats are reserved for +2 courses, another 40% for graduate and post-graduate courses, and the remaining 20% for technical and professional courses.
- Seat allocation will be based on merit, considering marks secured in the last board examination.

- Application Deadline: 31st July 2025

**Application Process:**
- Download the application form from the district website: kendrapara.odisha.gov.in.
- Submit the filled form along with required documents (Caste certificate, Income certificate, Mark sheet, Admission proof, School/College leaving certificate, Aadhar Card, and recent passport size photographs) to the District Welfare Office, Kendrapara, PIN: 754211, either by Speed Post/Registered Post or by hand.

**Facilities Provided:**
- Free residential facilities including Cot, Mattress, Bed Sheet, Pillow, Table, and Chair.
- Access to reading room, recreation room, and activity room subject to adherence to hostel rules.
